Download the beta version of  melabs Programmer Software below. The software is not freeware. It is commercial software copyright microEngineering Labs, Inc. and must be purchased before use. If you have previously purchased the melabs USB/U2 Programmer, melabs Serial Programmer or EPIC Programmer, you may download this software at no charge.

If you do not own a programmer from microEngineering Labs, you may purchase one of the following:

• melabs U2 Programmer with accessories - $119.95
• melabs Serial Programmer with accessories - $119.95
• EPIC Programmer with accessories - $99.95
• Programmer Software only - $25.00

Note for users of melabs Serial Programmer and melabs USB/U2 Programmer: This installation includes an update for your programmer's firmware.  After installation, run the software and select Options > More Options > Update Programmer Firmware.    Firmware is not required for EPIC Programmer.

The beta version displays a splash window on startup.  It does not support the advanced command-line switches of the paid upgrade.  To remove these limitations, you may wish to purchase an upgrade.

Version 3.31 beta for EPIC and melabs Serial Programmer Software

Download melabs Serial Programmer Software version 3.31 (EXE file,  736K)

This installation includes an update for your programmer's firmware (firmware version 3.5).  After installation, run the software and select Options > More Options > Update Serial Programmer Firmware.

EPICWIN Beta Version:

Supports EPIC Programmer only. The beta version of meProg software above is recommended, as it supports more PICmicro MCUs.
